Reading in 2011—an update

Okay, so I already posted my reading lists from Rich and Chris and Ana and myself. And now I’ve got my list from the lovely Heather. And what a wonderful list it is!!!

  • Wise Children by Angela Carter
  • The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly
  • The Man in the Picture by Susan Hill
  • The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters
  • The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon

I’m really excited about them all. I’ve been wanting to read The Book of Lost Things for so long. And I’ve been dying to read The Little Stranger ever since Heather’s wonderful review. I have to admit that The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay intimidates me a bit, but I’m excited that I now have to face my fears. :P  And The Man in the Picture—well, I never even heard of this one, so I find that pretty darn exciting…

Now I just have to get my list from Renay. :)  Which shall make 30 books. Yikes…Ms Pokey Little Reader herself. What was I thinking?!!! Oh yeah, that this shall be great fun and that I’ll get to read a lot of books I wouldn’t have otherwise read. :D 

I really should start now! Chris already read one of the ones I picked for him. And Rich is nearly finished with his first as well. But silly me, keeps telling myself that I shouldn’t start until the new year. Why?!! Because I am pretty much totally neurotic, I guess. :/

(Btw Renay…your list is *almost* ready. I, not Ana, am the hold-up. Having a freakin’ hard time coming up with the final one…)
