Irises are not one of my favorite flowers. Yet there is something about these Siberian irises that we inherited when we bought this house that just make me smile. Their deep purple color? Their daintier than your average iris size? I don’t know what it is actually…but I love them.

  1. thisnthatnwhatever said: at my brothers we had the larger kind all over the place.. it was a sea of purple in the spring!.. when we older folk were young, if we had grown flowers it was usually Iris’s and Gladiolis..i think bulbs are easily planted and never disappoint
