Oh my goodness,37 literally? You’ll have to get some of those recipes from Chris..lol I myself would be soo happy with just the jalapenos, I do adore hot peppers. The pink flowers look like some sort of daisy but whatever they are, they’re breathtaking

Looks like it’s going to be a mixed year in “the garden.” I don’t think we’re going to get a single cherry. Stupid cherry tree brown rot. :( First year since we’ve lived there that we’re not going to be gorging on fresh-picked cherries from the yard. And we know our apple tree is going to be a bust this year with its pathetic blossoming. Another first. Our green pepper plants are not looking so hot either…not sure what their problem is yet…actually I’m still hoping there’s not really a problem.
But on the bright side, we’re getting lots of strawberries this year. Not enough for jam, so I’m hoping we can pick some up at the farmers’ market for a decent price. But we’ll have lots to eat fresh from the garden. :)
And while the green peppers are not looking so hot, the jalapenos seem to be thriving. And we got our first flower today!

Along with the 37 tomato plants that Rich started from seed, we’ve got a few extras popping up from the compost. :P *fingers crossed they all do well*
Not a lot flowering in the flower garden yet, but we’re getting close. We do have these bright little beauties. We planted this one our first full summer here, and it’s still doing wonderfully. I’ve no clue what it is though. Anyone know?

And our peony’s in bloom, too.

So, while I’m still a bit (oh okay, more than a bit) envious of all the yummies that Chris and Heather are already enjoying, at least I finally believe our day is coming, too. (At least I hope it is!)
