Assignment: a picture of love
***
These two. Oh my. Talk about love. Seriously, the love these two have for each other is simply amazing.
Lucky is akin to the most affectionate, loyal dog you could imagine. Oh Lucks loves us all. But he loves no one as much as he loves his Max. And Max loves him a million times as much. I honestly have no doubt that he would die for that cat.
This is a common sight. Lucky “grooming” Max. He does it all the time. From everything I’ve been able to read about this sort of behavior, it appears that it’s a sign of affection. And that is most definitely how it appears when you see it. And as I said, you see it on a daily basis.
Maxidoodle is not what you’d call a morning person. But every morning when it was time for me to get Max up for school, I’d simply go sit on his bed and call Lucky. And in Luck would come…and the two of them would have their 10- or 15-minute love fest. And Max would come to the breakfast table in much better spirits. Some mornings Lucky wouldn’t come when I called him though…so Max would have to call himself. Lucky *always* came for Max. :)
Anyway, this is a photo that just screams love to me.

It probably seemed like I forgot all about the photographic scavenger hunt that Chris put together for me, but honestly I hadn’t. Now that life is hopefully going to be a bit slower, a bit less hectic, a bit less stressful for the next couple months, I’m hoping to jump back in full steam.
